IDCC, and Fast!

This post is part of the “New Writing Habit” series in which I attempt to write about something for one hour every work day.

A colleague of mine at Virginia Tech and I submitted a proposal for a poster at the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) next February in San Francisco. We proposed a poster that will compare two data management workshop formats — one was a day-long workshop I gave at UT in October, 2013. The other will be a 2.5-day data management bootcamp at Virginia Tech in January, 2014. The bootcamp is January 8-10 and our poster PDF is due to the conference organizers on January 20, so we will have alot of work to do in one week. I think we’ll be fine though.
